Meet the Staff Owner, Director and Instructor, Catherine DeRosa has taught children from pre-school through high school in both private and public institutions for the past 15 years. She holds a Masters Degree in Reading Education from Oswego State University in Oswego, NY as well as Bachelor Degrees in both Elementary Education and Special Education from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. In addition to teaching in classrooms, Catherine has tutored in both individual and group settings and has administrative experience as well. She continues to take courses in Early Childhood and attends as well as presents at many conferences, workshops and seminars each year. Catherine's desire to start this program comes as a result of having her own children and discovering that there weren't any educational programs for very young children that included their parents. The first few years of a child's life are critical to their success as they grow older. Not enough is being done to assist parents in helping to develop their child’s potential. This is where The Learning Stop helps both children and their parents. Through this program, parents will learn to successfully work with their children and understand how important a role they have in their child's development. Should you have any questions regarding Catherine DeRosa's educational credentials or experience, feel free to contact her by phone at (603) 620-2601 or at cderosa@thelearningstop.com.
